一、品种培育历程 Breeding History

中文：

2012 年，朱思浩成功培育、定型小甜瓜新品种 —— 乒乓香瓜。

2016 -2021年，朱思浩培育的乒乓香瓜荣获「世界最小甜瓜」世界纪录官方认证，并在上海、江苏、浙江、甘肃、山东等地示范成功；

2022-2025 年，朱思浩培育获世界纪录认证的乒乓香瓜又在内蒙古、河北、辽宁等地成功示范。

English：

In 2012, Zhu Sihao successfully developed and finalized a new mini muskmelon variety, Pingpong Melon.

In 2016-2021, the Pingpong Melon cultivated by Zhu Sihao obtained official World Record certification as "The World’s Smallest Muskmelon", and realized successful demonstration planting in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Gansu, Shandong and other regions.

In 2022-2025, the world-record-certified Pingpong Melon bred by Zhu Sihao achieved successful demonstration cultivation in Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Liaoning and other provinces.

二、品种基本概况 Basic Variety Overview

世界纪录小甜瓜由世界自然保护联盟（IUCN）委员、中国农业专家、上海四系生态农业科技有限公司创始人朱思浩历经多年精心培育，于 2016 年荣获 “世界最小甜瓜” 世界纪录认证（WRC160806L，2016 年 10 月 18 日），经检索是目前全球唯一的独家种质资源。

本品种为朱思浩培育的全球独家种质资源，种质纯正、遗传性状稳定、综合优势显著，无同质化市场竞争。适配规模化商品种植、特色农业产业园打造、高端特色农产品推广等多种场景，目前全面开放品种转让与技术合作授权。

English：

This world-record mini muskmelon was painstakingly bred for years by Zhu Sihao, Member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), renowned Chinese agricultural expert and founder of Shanghai Six-line Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd. It obtained official World Record certification titled "The World’s Smallest Muskmelon" (Certificate No. WRC160806L, October 18, 2016). Database verification confirms that it is the world’s only exclusive germplasm resource of its kind so far.

Developed exclusively by Zhu Sihao, this variety features pure germplasm, stable genetic characteristics and outstanding comprehensive strengths, with no homogeneous competitors in the market. It is applicable to various scenarios including large-scale commercial cultivation, construction of characteristic agricultural industrial parks and marketing of high-end special agricultural products. Licenses for variety transfer and technical cooperation are fully available to all partners at present.

二、植株特征与生长特性 Plant Characteristics & Growth Traits

中文：

本品种为无限生长型，坐果率极高，种植过程无需人工授粉，也无需喷施激素保花保果，省工省心。植株长势强劲，常规株高约3米，最优生长条件下可达到5米以上，保护地的情况下，具备四季持续结果的特性。其叶片形态与黄瓜叶片相近，但整体尺寸更小，株型紧凑规整，田间管理便捷。

English：

This variety belongs to the indeterminate growth type with an extremely high fruit set rate. No manual pollination or hormone sprays for flower and fruit retention are required during cultivation, which greatly saves labor and management efforts.

The plants exhibit vigorous growth, reaching a conventional height of around 3 meters, and can grow to over 5 meters under optimal growing conditions. When cultivated in protected facilities, it bears fruits continuously all year round.

Its leaves resemble cucumber leaves in shape but are smaller in overall size. The plant has a compact and neat canopy, facilitating convenient field management.

三、果实品质特性 Fruit Quality Characteristics

果实外形精致美观，幼果呈翠绿色，成熟后逐渐转变为墨绿带有不规则条纹，偶有亮黄色带有不规则条纹。品相极佳、商品价值高。该品种挂果量极大，单株最高结果可达 100 余个。单果最小尺寸只有 3cm，大果如乒乓球大小，故名 “乒乓香瓜”。果实口感甜糯爽口、风味独特，含糖量稳定在18-21度，果皮可直接食用，自带清新果香，果实成熟后幽香浓郁、沁人心脾，食用体验极佳。

English：

The fruits boast an exquisite and attractive appearance. Young fruits are emerald green. As they ripen, they gradually turn dark green with irregular stripes; some occasionally ripen bright yellow with irregular stripes. The fruits have excellent marketable quality and high commercial value.

This variety sets an extremely heavy load of fruits, with a single plant yielding more than 100 fruits at maximum. The tiniest fruit measures only 3 centimeters across, while larger fruits are the size of table tennis balls — hence the name "Pingpong Melon".

The melon flesh tastes sweet, glutinous and crisp with a one-of-a-kind flavor. Its sugar content steadily ranges from 18 to 21 degrees Brix. The peel is edible raw and carries a fresh natural melon scent. Fully ripe fruits release a rich, delicate fragrance that refreshes the senses, delivering an excellent eating experience.

四、抗逆性与生长环境适应性 Stress Resistance & Environmental Adaptability

品种抗逆性优异，兼具耐阴、耐旱、耐热、抗病等多重优势，环境适应性极强。经多地区试验示范，该品种可耐受4-5℃低温，也可抵御50℃极端高温环境。当环境温度稳定在15℃以上时，植株生长速度显著加快，长势旺盛。南北方均可种植，田间抗性强、稳产性好。

English：

This variety boasts outstanding stress resistance, featuring multiple advantages including shade tolerance, drought resistance, heat tolerance and disease resistance, with extremely strong environmental adaptability.

Trials and demonstrations carried out across multiple regions have proven that it can withstand low temperatures of 4–5°C and endure extreme high temperatures up to 50°C. When the ambient temperature stays steadily above 15°C, the plants grow significantly faster with vigorous vitality.

Suitable for cultivation in both northern and southern China, it delivers strong field resistance and stable yields year after year.

五、产量与营养价值 Yield & Nutritional Value

该品种高产稳产、经济效益突出。保护地栽培亩产可达4000-5000KG，露地栽培亩产可达3000-4000KG。该品种营养丰富、兼具食用与养生双重价值，市场优势显著、竞争力极强。

English：

This variety achieves high and stable yields with remarkable economic benefits. The yield is 4,000-5,000 kilograms per mu for protected cultivation and 3,000-4,000 kilograms per mu for open-field cultivation.
